Because of Jenna Trust advocates for and caters to the needs of severely braininjured children in Barbados to improve their quality of life. The charity, established in 2004, was founded in memory of Jenna Leigh Clarke, the 11-year-old daughter of Garry and Anna Clarke, who died on December 1, 2001. They opened the Respite Centre in 2018, which provides support, therapy (physio and occupational), socialization activities and community inclusion from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. The Respite also provides work for some of the family members responsible for their care by allowing them the opportunity to care for their sibling or child while earning some wages and assisting with other children as well.
