About Us
Who We Are
We are a non-profit organisation established in Barbados in 2015 to be a change agent for strengthening the institutional and operational capacity of civil society organisations.
Our mission is to build the sustainability of the civic sector organisations (non-profits, NGOs, charities, and social enterprises) that change lives. This is achieved through the ASPIRE Model, which consists of three programmes: ASPIRE Incubator, ASPIRE Standards and ASPIRE Volunteers.
Our Team
One of our greatest strengths is in the tram we have been able to attract and retain. Our board of directors comprises a team of highly respected philanthropists, entrepreneurs, C-Suite business executives, and nonprofit sector professionals who are nationals and/or residents of Barbados, or have strong links with, and affinity to the country.
Our Work
We are fighting to achieve the 2030 Global Goals to reduce inequalities, protect the planet and ensure all Caribbean people enjoy peace and prosperity.
We work with organisations who are working to solve critical social & economic challenges in our communities by connecting them with skilled volunteers sharing their expertise pro-bono, social investors and practical business support. We support organisations working
in key priority development areas including: Poverty alleviation, civil & human rights, decent work & economic development, health & wellbeing, arts & culture, environmental sustainability, food security and education, critical populations (young people, older persons, women, lbgtqi, disabled community)
We make connecting with social change leaders and innovators easier for individuals, donors and regulators through our nonprofit governance tools and policy advocacy to improve ease of business for civil society organisations.
